I had fun drawing this, it took time, and was a lot work. I think it turned out pretty nice, and I had five people to draw instead of five!

Sketch Book #6 Hebrews 13:8

Sketch Book #5 Sunset && Green Ocean

Sketch Book #4 Tornado w/ Quote

(The Quote On The Picture)

Sometimes ..
You gotta run away.. So you can see who will run after you
Sometimes ..
You gotta talk quieter just to see who’s listening
Sometimes ..

You gotta step up in a fight just to see who’s standing by your side
Sometimes ..

You gotta make a wrong decision only to see who’s there to help you fix it
& Sometimes ..
You gotta let go of the one you love just to see if they love you enough to come back to you...

7) How do you (realistically) think our world or our lives will change in the next 50 years? post sketch. Sketch Book #2

This is just your next door neighbor, and yes, people are living in there!!!!!

6) Describe an invention you think we need in our society or world. Post a sketch of your idea. Sketch Book #1

The Bindle!!!!

8) What is the biggest issue/ problem/ drama in your life? How does it effect your attitude?

I honestly don’t have a huge problem, but I’d say fighting the fact that I’m a believer in God, and half of my friends are not. I wish I was strong enough to get to them, but sometimes I’m scared to lose them. I know what He wants, but I feel I’m not strong enough. In my own family; I’m the only believer. I have tried to get to some of my friends. Some will talk to me about what I have to say, others will say they want nothing to do with this. I struggle with the fact that the ones I love won’t be where I’m going when I die. This is what I believe.

5) How has this year in general changed how you think/ or what you believe about something?

Well, I learned that you don’t know if you are good or bad at something unless you actually try it. I didn’t think I would be able to get done with this 3D picture with a bunch of bricks, and it had some shadowing or lighting in other areas. It was difficult, but I tried. As it turned out; the picture was pretty good. I was pretty proud of myself.

2) Why is creativity becoming increasingly important in our world, workforce, economy, ect...

It’s becoming so important because this is what separates all types of art from other art. Each piece is unique! Not one piece of art has the same theme, name, artist, and style. They are all different, and difference is important. Their is difference all over the world. That’s why it’s important for everyone to be creative in their own way.

1) What is art? What is creativity?

What is art? Art is a form of life! It’s a way people can show what they are picturing in their mind or how they want to express what is going on in their mind. It could simply be from drawing a picture to taking a picture. What is creativity? Creativity is a style each person has when they create art. It’s someones way of letting others know what they like to show. How people add their own little sparkle to things.

10) What is the biggest lesson you have learned so far in life? Share your wisdom :)

What is the biggest lesson I learned in my life? Well, I have many lessons to still learn. I honestly think that the biggest one I learned so far is that, in life, there are people out there that will break your heart. I had a really close friend that literally tore me apart. It hurt me so much, but the pain only lasted a few days. Why? Well, whoever reads this, God was on my side then. I learned that through God many things are possible. Forgiveness is my biggest gift now. I did evenly forgive that friend, only because I knew that’s what God would want me to do. I don’t live a life of depression just because that one friend hurt me. I lived on with life and I make the best of it when I think about it. :)

9) If you could (realistically) change one thing about high school in general what would it be and why?

What would be one thing that I would change about high school? I wish I could change the way how all the upper class men are always saying mean things to us or about us. They always think that they are better. It has been this way for years!!!! I wish it would stop. The fact that you are older and in a “higher rank” is an amazing feeling, but you don’t have to brag about it. Be smart and let other know that you are more wise and willing to help maybe, instead of rubbing it into someone’s face that you are older and deserve more respect than anyone else.

3) Are you an artist? Why or why not? What makes an artist?

Am I an artist? Everyone is some type of artist. Whether it be painting, sculpting, or even photography. An artist is some one who expresses their way of creativity through a media of some sort. They have their own style. They have their own way of showing what’s going inside their own mind. What they are thinking, comes out into a master piece. So yes, I am an artist and I have my own way of showing it.

Angel W. Elements of Art

Line-The lines for the bricks, sidewalk, there’s lines all over :)

Shape-The bricks, the stop sign, and street light. They all have their own shape.

Form- The building itself. It’s shows the main 3D effect. The road as well.

Texture-The grass and road. The grass has an X to make it look real life. The road has the bumpiness to had the look of a real rough road.

Space- The bricks are evened out like they are up close until it all goes off into the distance and they get smaller.

Value-The sky. It has a portion of a sunset like theme. Like in the evening, but it has a hint of blue. So you can tell the sun is just setting. The bricks do as well. The further away they are, the darker they get.

Repetition- The bricks are all repeating.

Balance- I have my objects scattered out. They are not all bunched up.

Emphasis- My 3D effect makes everything just pop out.

Contrast-You can tell that all the bricks are seperate. You can actually tell that there are bricks there.

Unity-I have an old fashion like theme, so everything mixes together. I don’t have any like 21st century things in this 1900’s theme.

4) What are your strengths and weaknesses as an artist?

My strengths would be any kind of painting. I always find painting easy, and doing things with oil pastels, as medias. My major weaknesses are still life and portraits. As in peoples faces.
